Glaze Oil Painting: Contemporary Applications - Mentor Program

If you are a member of the CGOS, you will have the unique opportunity to sign up for Intermediate to Advanced Glaze Oil Mentor Online Workshops with instructor, Kathy Marlene Bailey, B.Art Ed., Creative Arts. Classes are custom-designed to work well with the a Zoom teaching platform, and will consist of three students only at a time.

Artists who have a good understanding of the principles of glazing, will be able to take advantage of this excellent learning opportunity to further hone their skills of manipulating light within the paint surface. They will also come to understand and use leading edge best practices to create permanence for their oil paintings.

Introduction to Traditional Glaze Oil Painting

You do not have to be a member of the CGOS to take this amazing introductory course on Traditional Glaze Oil Painting with instructor, Kathy Marlene Bailey, B.Art Ed., Creative Arts.

The course will involve a set curriculum, project and materials for all students. From this course, students will look forward to acquiring a remarkable level of understanding of methods of glazing. These methods are also excellent for enhancing rendering skills, as well as colour perception and mixing skills. You will be shocked at the fascinating light technology of this historic method of painting and the magic results. These skills are invaluable to all painters at any level!
