Lynn Cassels Caldwell

Lynn is a longtime professional artist, who has most recently come to Traditional Oil Painting. Her “arena” is that of a highly acclaimed horse photographer and a perpetual award winner in the niche field of painting horse sculptures. While doing all this, she has also been an accomplished professional graphic artist.

Lynn’s panache for detail has lent itself well to Glaze Oil Painting and has made her an incredibly “quick study” for this, her most recent art medium. She is pursuing the learning of these methods because they will be so effective in application for painting her sculptures. However, as proved by her first glazing oil painting below, and above - her first painting out of study, she is quickly proving herself to be an enormously talented 2D oil painter as well. We welcome Lynn with open arms into our society, and greatly look forward to watching her develop as a glaze oil painter.
